La Ribera is all about fishing, and farming and offers access to Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park. Cabo Pulmo is one of three living reefs and the only hard coral reef in North America thus it is important to the ecology of flora and fauna of the entire Pacific Ocean. Grey whales birth their calves off the Pacific shores of the Baja peninsula, from December to April, and move into the Sea of Cortés’ clean, well-stocked waters to feed and prepare their young for the voyage back north. Activities include fishing, kayaking, windsurfing, snorkeling, camping.
